Doug Wells is a popular Alabama storyteller with an amazing ability to paint pictures with his words that entertains and captivates his audience. Doug currently lives in Athens, Alabama. He grew up on a farm in rural Alabama and was educated in advanced music studies. Doug toured the country as a concert pianist in the sixties and seventies. He later modified his performance to include comic routines and incorporated stories into his program, with incredible results. He is a five-time champion, first place winner of the Toastmaster International Humorous Speech and Storytelling Competition.
